Of the many available mobility products, transfer and standing aids are some of the most important. These mobility devices help both the carer and the person who has difficulty in standing and turning and significantly reduce the risk of injury to people when turning, standing or sitting whilst also reducing the stress put on their own and their carer’s bodies. They are also vital in enabling people to carry on doing certain things such as going out in a car and getting around their own home.
Walking aids such as Rollators and Tri-Walkers for many disabled and elderly are a daily necessity for those for whom the basic walking stick simply doesn’t provide enough support and stability. They provide many people with the confidence needed to go about their daily tasks such as moving around their homes and going to the shops either alone or accompanied by a carer.
