In addition to her experience within the NHS, Sandra Hamill also has significant experience in operating nursing homes within both the UK and USA. Ms Hamill has also worked in a consultative capacity and has acted as advisor to one of the largest quality home care providers in the south of England, where her prime focus is on improving standards of nursing care, professional management practice and the development of quality care regimes within the caring community.

Seizing the opportunity of being able to work overseas once again, whilst still retaining a close working relationship with the UK care industry, the popular European tourist destination of Mallorca was the ideal choice in which to establish a base for providing not only local care facilities but also expatriate and holiday care services, which involve not only comprehensive nursing and caring facilities but also property management, holiday organisation and becoming established as a major distributor for a wide range of mobility aids and nursing supplies.

Thus was born Hamill Care International (HCI).

HCI provides a fusion of leading edge quality care services combined with an excellence in management through a strong team of experienced care professionals and administration that is the hallmark of what has come to be known as the Hamill brand of quality care.

Sandra Hamill lives in the north of Mallorca with her husband and son and is now firmly established as a senior figure in the local care community, actively participating in many healthcare, well-being and charitable activities. She is also a major sponsor of disabled sports and events.
